Financial Analyst
Century Group is partnering with a client that is seeking a Financial Analyst to join their team. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting base salary of $60,000 to $80,000 per year.
Job Responsibilities:
- Assist in preparing monthly business performance reports, AR aging reports, forecasts, and budgets
- Support and maintain financial models to aid in strategic decision-making
- Analyze financial and operational data to identify trends and provide actionable insights
- Participate in the month-end close process and support financial reporting for subsidiaries
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather financial inputs and support strategic projects
Requirements:
- Demonstrate a basic understanding of financial statements and corporate finance concepts
- Use Microsoft Excel proficiently for financial modeling and data analysis
- Work with accounting systems such as SAP, QuickBooks, or similar platforms
- Communicate effectively in both English and Korean; bilingual proficiency is preferred
- Monitor departmental spending and assist functional leaders with financial insights
Qualifications:
- Hold a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; training in accounting or finance is required
- 1+ year(s) of direct experience in accounting or finance; 2+ years is preferred
- Possess or be working toward CPA, CIA, or CISA certification; certification is preferred but not required
- Participate in cost and profitability analysis to support investment decisions
- Contribute to the implementation of financial systems and process improvements
