Monday-Friday (40 hrs per week)CONTRACT TERM1 year contract with high likelihood of extension/conversion to full time employeePOSITION OVERVIEW – Financial Analyst IIThe main functions of a financial analyst are to gather and analyze financial information; will typically conduct quantitative analyses of information affecting investment programs of public or private institutions. A typical financial analyst is responsible for analyzing and communicating financial information for clients.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES• Analyze actual operating results, interpret financial data, and present results to management• Gather and analyze financial information to support reporting and business operations• Respond to budget-related requests for financial data• Reconcile promotional claims and POS activity to ensure accurate reporting and payment• Research payment reconciliation issues arising from audits, exception reports, or remittance changes• Generate required financial reporting to validate payments and resolve discrepancies and variances• Reconcile carrier commissions against in-store reporting to ensure timely and accurate payment• Conduct financial data analytics and provide actionable insights to business stakeholders• Deliver financial reporting and analytics to a variety of key business stakeholders• Utilize appropriate financial data to support the development of actionable spending plans• Analyze variances and identify discrepancies within financial and operational data• Maintain accurate financial records and reporting through effective reconciliation processes• Collaborate effectively with internal teams and business stakeholders to support financial operationsREQUIREMENTS• Bachelor's Degree with 1-3 years of directly related experience is required• Prior experience in retail operations preferred• Must have accounting experience utilizing SAP R/3 software• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite of PC software applications experience with solid Excel and PowerPoint skills.• Must be able to communicate financial information through written reports, presentations, and meetings.
