Junior Financial Analyst – Key Responsibilities & Qualifications
- Support month-end close activities, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and analysis of revenue, costs, and gross margins.
- Prepare monthly financial reports and analyze actual results against budget, forecast, and prior periods.
- Assist with budget and forecast preparation , consolidation, and reporting of revenue and gross margin.
- Utilize advanced Excel skills, including PivotTables, XLOOKUP, INDEX/MATCH, SUMIFS, and financial modeling, to develop and maintain reporting tools.
- Analyze sales performance, product costs, gross margin trends, and period-over-period variances.
- Extract, reconcile, and validate financial data from ERP and reporting systems, including Oracle EPM.
- Prepare ad hoc financial analyses and reports to support management decisions, audits, and other business requirements.
- Identify opportunities to improve reporting efficiency, automate recurring processes, and strengthen financial controls.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field, with 1–3 years of relevant experience.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills, with high attention to detail. xhqgsiq
- Preferred experience with ERP systems, Power BI, budgeting, forecasting, and cross-functional collaboration.
