Job Title: Financial Analyst

Duration: 03 Months (Possible extension)

Shift: 1st Shift

Pay Rate: $47.95/Hour on W2

Location: Fairfield, OH 45014

Role Overview:

• The Plant Cost & Financial Analyst will support the Plant Controller in preparing accurate financial reports, analyzing manufacturing costs, monitoring inventory, and explaining plant financial performance.
• This role is suitable for a junior candidate with 2–3 years of relevant experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare weekly and intra-week reports on WIP, inventory transactions, material usage variances, PPV, and plant P&L.
• Perform cost variance analysis and prepare Analysis of Change (AOC) reports.
• Analyze inventory valuation, material consumption, and manufacturing cost movements.
• Reconcile data across multiple sources and identify discrepancies or anomalies.
• Work with Operations, Purchasing, Master Data, and Finance teams to resolve issues.
• Improve reporting efficiency through Excel, Power BI, and automation tools.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 2–3 years of experience in cost accounting, manufacturing finance, or financial analysis.
• Understanding of standard costing, WIP, inventory valuation, PPV, and usage variances.
• Advanced Excel skills, including PivotTables, lookups, and data analysis.
• Experience working with ERP data and strong analytical and reconciliation skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Oracle ERP experience.
• Exposure to engineer-to-order or project-based manufacturing.
• Knowledge of Power BI, Power Query, or reporting automation.
• English/Spanish bilingual proficiency is a plus.
