About The Role

The role sits at the intersection of corporate finance and regulatory compliance, turning financial data into analysis that drives decisions across budgeting, forecasting, and reporting while ensuring outputs meet US GAAP and SOX standards.

You will partner with accounting, FP&A, and audit teams to model scenarios, validate reporting accuracy, and support SEC-facing deliverables — work that directly shapes how leadership allocates capital and how confidently the business scales.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain financial models for forecasting, variance analysis, and scenario planning in Excel and Adaptive Insights (or similar EPM tools)
  • Support month-end and quarter-end close with flux analysis on revenue, cost, and margin variances
  • Partner with accounting on reconciliations and ensure reporting aligns with US GAAP and internal control standards
  • Contribute to SOX compliance by documenting control processes, testing key controls, and remediating identified gaps
  • Assist in preparation of SEC reporting deliverables, including 10-Q and 10-K supporting schedules and footnote analysis
  • Develop Power BI or Tableau dashboards that surface KPIs and trends to finance leadership
  • Evaluate business cases and capital requests, providing clear, data-backed recommendations to stakeholders

What We Are Looking For

  • 3-6 years of experience in financial analysis, FP&A, audit, or corporate accounting, ideally in a technology or SaaS environment
  • Working knowledge of US GAAP and SOX internal control frameworks; exposure to SEC reporting is a strong plus
  • Advanced Excel skills and experience with at least one EPM/ERP system (NetSuite, Workday, Oracle, SAP)
  • Strong modeling and analytical skills with the ability to explain variance drivers clearly to non-finance partners
  • Experience building dashboards or automated reporting (Power BI, Tableau, or SQL is a plus)
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
