Financial Analyst (Temporary-to-Hire)Location: Americus, Georgia (In Office)Schedule: Full-Time, 40 hours per weekWork Hours: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM, or four 10-hour days (Monday–Thursday)Assignment Type: Temporary-to-HireReports To: Revenue Accounting SupervisorPosition Summary: Southern Point Staffing is seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Financial Analyst to join its Revenue Accounting team. This position is responsible for reconciling and analyzing various revenue streams, including Habitat 2.0 COMM Program transactions, stock donations, donor-advised funds, IRA contributions, donated products, and pledge payments.The ideal candidate will possess strong accounting knowledge, excellent analytical skills, and advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated accounting professional seeking to grow within a mission-driven organization, with the potential for permanent employment.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesSell, reconcile, and record stock donations (20%)Review and provide coding instructions for donor-advised funds and IRA contributions (20%)Reconcile monthly and quarterly Habitat 2.0 COMM Program transactions (20%)Analyze revenue contracts, donor giving history, and supporting documentation (10%)Test pricing valuations for donated product transactions (10%)Complete revenue reconciliations and provide monthly financial analytics (5%)Collaborate with internal departments to resolve discrepancies and accounting issues (5%)Serve as backup support for other accounting positions (5%)Perform additional duties as assigned by management (5%)Minimum QualificationsBachelor’s degree in accounting requiredExperienceMinimum of one (1) year of accounting or finance experienceKnowledge, Skills, and AbilitiesExceptional attention to detailStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsExcellent written and verbal communication abilitiesAbility to handle confidential financial informationStrong organizational skills and ability to meet deadlinesProficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, Word, and OutlookExperience with Microsoft Access is a plusPreferred QualificationsExperience with revenue accounting and reconciliationsKnowledge of nonprofit accounting practicesFamiliarity with donor contributions, stock donations, and pledge accountingWork Environment: This position is based in the Americus, Georgia office and requires on-site attendance.

Candidates must be able to work independently while collaborating effectively with accounting and finance team members.Opportunity for Permanent Employment: This role is structured as a temporary-to-hire assignment.
