Our firm is growing, and we are seeking a Financial Advisor / Financial Planner who is committed to exceptional client care and long-term relationship building.
nPosition Summary
nThe Financial Advisor will serve as a primary advisor for client relationships and support all aspects of financial planning, investment strategy, and ongoing client service. This role includes developing comprehensive financial plans, presenting recommendations, managing client onboarding, and collaborating with the firm’s principal on investment strategy and planning methodology.

nKey Responsibilities
nClient Engagement & Relationship Management
nServe as the primary advisor for assigned clients
nConduct discovery meetings, annual reviews, and ongoing check-ins
nProvide guidance through major financial transitions (retirement, career changes, inheritance, education planning)
nDeliver a consistent, high-quality client experience aligned with firm standards
nManage client onboarding, documentation, and follow-up communication
nFinancial Planning & Analysis
nGather and analyze client financial data
nDevelop comprehensive financial plans using financial planning software (RightCapital, eMoney, MoneyGuidePro)
nPrepare and present planning recommendations in clear, actionable formats
nConduct retirement planning, cash flow analysis, risk tolerance assessments, and asset allocation reviews
nUpdate plans based on life changes, market conditions, or regulatory updates
nInvestment Strategy & Portfolio Support
nSupport investment management activities in collaboration with the principal
nReview portfolio allocations, performance reports, and investment recommendations
nAssist with research, due diligence, and investment strategy alignment
nEnsure client portfolios reflect firm philosophy and risk tolerance
nTeam Collaboration & Leadership
nWork closely with the principal to ensure consistent messaging and planning methodology
nMentor and train team members in financial planning processes
nSupport process improvement, planning operations, and workflow optimization
nBusiness Development
nEngage prospective clients through outreach, discovery conversations, and timely follow-up
nBuild relationships with clients, CPAs, attorneys, and community partners
nIdentify referral opportunities and contribute to firm growth initiatives
nRepresent the firm professionally at networking events and community engagements
nCompliance & Documentation
nMaintain accurate, compliant client records (electronic and physical)
nEnsure adherence to FINRA, SEC, and state regulatory requirements
nUphold confidentiality, integrity, and professional standards

nRequired
nSeries 7 license
nProfessional client-facing experience
nStrong analytical and communication skills
nProficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
nAbility to maintain confidentiality and attention to detail
nAbility to work on-site in Springfield, MA
nPreferred
nExperience in financial planning, wealth management, or advisory services
nExperience with financial planning software (RightCapital, eMoney, MoneyGuidePro)
nState health, life, disability, and variable annuity licenses
nCFP® designation
nBachelor’s degree in finance, business, economics, or related field
nCompensation & Benefits
nSalary range: $90,000–$120,000, based on experience and qualifications
