Description The Financial Advisor at Addison Avenue Investment Services, a division of First Tech, partners with Seattle and Bellevue area tech employees and members to deliver personalized, goals-based financial advice across investment, retirement and insurance planning. Based at Studios West on Microsoft's campus in Redmond, this role offers a unique opportunity to build a practice from the ground up within one of the Pacific Northwest's most dynamic and innovation-driven communities.  This position is designed for an entrepreneurial advisor who is energized by relationship development, employer engagement, and long-term business building. Advisors in this role will cultivate new client relationships through First Tech's member ecosystem, on-campus visibility, referrals, seminars, and strategic networking, while helping clients navigate complex financial decisions around equity compensation, retirement planning, wealth accumulation, and risk management.  This role is supported by the scale and resources of Raymond James Financial Services, providing access to industry-leading investment solutions, planning tools, operational infrastructure, and a collaborative wealth management environment.

This is an opportunity for a motivated advisor to establish a long-term presence in a highly affluent market with significant growth potential.  Here's what you can expect from the job and what you need to be successful:What You'll Do: Assist members and prospects with information, products offered and procedures to implement an investment programMaintain member files and records to comply with the requirements of Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA), Office of Supervisory Jurisdiction (OSJ) and Insurance Agency (Agency) regulatorsInterface with mutual fund companies, insurance companies, clearinghouse and broker/dealer for any member needs or servicesCoordinate, conduct, and maintain approved promotional campaigns for Addison Avenue as needed and/or appropriate promotional campaigns specific to the unique or unusual needs of the Experience CentreKeep informed of current success of investment products offered and of new products being made available through our broker/dealer, Raymond James Financial Services, Inc.Prepare all new business for submission to Raymond James for processing, using standard OSJ procedures Essential Skills: Minimum of 5 years’ experience with the sale and delivery of personal investment products and services, with the proven ability to act as a trusted advisor and advocateExperience working in a bank or credit union environment preferredExceptional interpersonal skills to engage with internal and external business partnersDemonstrated ability to use discretion and judgment when working with clients, professionally handling sensitive information with discretionAbility to create and deliver dynamic and engaging presentations with the ability to tailor messages to the audiencePossess an in-depth understanding of the financial industry, financial concepts and the mathematics behind them, high-level product knowledge, competitive intel and client-service strategiesAbility to handle multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining a high level of organization, accuracy, and efficiencyAbility to organize, analyze and interpret data to reach sound decisions and guide investors based on individual risk tolerancesAbility to assess individual client needs and foster strong relationshipsProficiency with basic to complex mathematical calculationsWorking knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and financial planning softwareExposure to a CRM such as Salesforce or Microsoft Dynamics is preferredCertification/License: Series 7, 63, 65/66 FINRA licenses, Life & Disability Insurance license required; CFP preferredMinimum Education: High School Diploma, with CFP designation preferredClean U-4Location: Based at our Studios West branch in Redmond, WA, supporting additional branches throughout Redmond and downtown Seattle, WATarget compensation in Washington: $80,168.40 annually plus monthly incentive earningsWho We Are:What makes First Tech different?
