Position Overview
Our client, a well-established and community-focused financial institution, is seeking a Financial Advisor to lead and grow its wealth management division.
This opportunity provides the ability to step into an existing book of business while developing new client relationships through a strong, built-in referral network . You'll receive support from an experienced team, structured training, and a relationship-driven organization focused on helping clients achieve their long-term financial goals.
This role is well suited for an experienced financial advisor looking to grow or lead a book of business, as well as a successful consultative sales professional interested in transitioning into financial services with training and support.
What You'll Do
• Manage, service, and grow an existing book of wealth management clients .
• Develop new client relationships through bank referrals, personal networks, professional relationships, and community outreach.
• Create and execute a strategic plan to grow the wealth management division.
• Meet with clients to understand their financial goals, priorities, risk tolerance, and long-term needs.
• Develop personalized financial strategies and recommend appropriate financial solutions.
• Maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients through ongoing communication and financial reviews.
• Build referral partnerships with community leaders, business owners, professionals, and other centers of influence.
• Partner with internal banking teams to identify and develop qualified client opportunities.
• Maintain accurate client records and activity within CRM and financial technology platforms.
• Stay current on financial products, market developments, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices.

Preferred Experience & Licenses
• FINRA Series 7 and Series 66 licenses preferred.
• Life & Health Insurance licenses preferred.
• 5+ years of financial services, wealth management, investment, banking, or consultative sales experience preferred.
• Previous experience managing or developing a book of business.
• Experience generating business through referrals and community relationships.
• Existing book of business is a plus but not required.
Compensation & Benefits
• $75,000 base salary + uncapped commission.
• Compensation flexibility may be available for experienced advisors bringing an existing book of business.
