Financial Accounting SupervisorThis position will provide an excellent opportunity for an experienced accountant to excel in a position of leadership! The Financial Accounting Supervisor will assist in the timely and accurate production of financial statements and is responsible for the supervision of the Accounts Receivable function and general financial accounting at the Terre Haute division of Steel Dynamics.Some of the responsibilities will include:Coordinating month-end activities between departments to ensure proper cut-off proceduresPreparation of financial statementsFinancial analysisAccount reconciliationsAssisting in tax-related activitiesParticipating in inventory countsCapital project accountingAssisting in quarterly reviews and year-end audit by outside auditorsPrioritizing responsibilitiesBudgetingBachelor's Degree (Accounting is preferred)General knowledge and understanding of GAAPFive (5) or more years of accounting experienceCMA or CPA is preferredSupervisory experienceSteel Dynamics, Inc., and all affiliated entities are equal opportunity employers.
