Job Title
Assists in the timely and accurate production of financial statements and is responsible for the supervision of the Accounts Receivable function and general financial accounting.
Duties
• Assists in the timely and accurate production of financial statements
• Responsible for the supervision of the Accounts Receivable function and general financial accounting
• Budgeting
• Coordinate month-end activities between departments to ensure proper cut-off procedures
• Preparation of financial statements
• Financial analysis
• Account reconciliations
• Assist in tax-related activities
• Participate in inventory counts
• Capital project accounting
• Assist in quarterly reviews and year-end audit by outside auditors
• Prioritize responsibilities
Supervision
• Will supervise two personnel.
• Will report to the divisional Controller which is local.
Requirements
• Experience as an Accounting Supervisor or Senior Financial Accountant that could supervise two accountants.
• This is a manufacture so ideal candidate would come out of supervision but would consider others such as banking, healthcare etc.
