Depending on experience and departmental needs, responsibilities may include:Accounts payable and vendor managementPayroll processing and employee benefits administrationEmployee onboarding and personnel recordsContribution and donor record processingBank deposits and account reconciliationsCredit card administration and reconciliationsEmployee reimbursementsSales tax and Form 1099 reportingFinancial reporting and budget supportDonor and vendor customer serviceMaintaining confidential financial recordsAssisting with process improvements and special projectsAnd any additional duties and responsibilities that may reasonably be assignedWe're Looking for Someone WhoHas exceptional attention to detailDemonstrates honesty, integrity, and professionalismMaintains strict confidentialityEnjoys solving problems and improving processesCommunicates well with staff, vendors, and church membersCan prioritize multiple responsibilities while meeting deadlinesWorks well independently and as part of a teamUnderstands the importance of excellent stewardship in ministryQualificationsExperience in accounting, bookkeeping, payroll, finance, or a related field preferredKnowledge of accounts payable, payroll, reconciliations, or financial reporting is a plusStrong computer skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly ExcelExperience with accounting software preferredExcellent organizational and time management skillsHigh degree of accuracy and attention to detailWhy Catalyst Church?You'll join a team committed to serving with excellence while supporting a church that is passionate about reaching people and changing lives.
