Finance Operations Manager (Assistant Controller)Aerotek has an opening for a Finance Operations Manager (Assistant Controller) at the corporate office in Hanover, MD.Reporting to the Regional Controller (RC), the Assistant Controller will serve as the financial steward for the regional sales offices and/or national sales teams. The successful candidate will interact with the sales teams nationwide helping them with items including, but not limited to; rate negotiations, contract negotiations, reviewing Requests For Proposals (RFPs), and other support functions while driving company initiatives.Essential FunctionsPrimary contact for Regional/National sales teamsManage account, office and regional profitability through office P&L's and profit modelsPartner with Regional/National sales teams to assist in the management of: Market trend analysisHeadcount ratios and CompensationExpense ManagementRisk ManagementPricingPartner with Regional/National teams to set performance goalsAssist in creating and implementing new policies, procedures, and programsTrack and report all office / organization stats: sales and recruiter contest winners, quarterly bonuses, office / account goals, stock tracking, customer information, business metricsProvide market and customer analysis, assist in bid and RFP response process and provide necessary reporting to Regional/National leadershipResponsible for the technical and professional development of the Assistant Controller(s) on the team by providing daily feedback / interaction and quarterly performance evaluationsQualificationsBachelor's Degree in Business or Accounting preferred2+ years of related experience requiredSkills and AbilitiesCreates an environment where teamwork is expectedAbility to develop a thorough knowledge of business policies and account management practicesStrong leadership, communication skills and work ethicStrong problem solving and critical thinking skillsAbility to negotiate with senior level client contacts (legal department, contracts department, procurement, finance, etc)Ability to balance team and individual workload through effective time management, prioritization and organizational skillsAbility to coach, train and develop direct reportsStrong business judgment and negotiation skillsAbility to handle multiple tasks concurrentlyHighly motivated individual who is eager to grow within our organizationPer Pay Transparency Acts: The range for this position is $75,000 - $115,000 + annual bonus potential of $5,000Benefits are subject to change and may be subject to specific elections, plan, or program terms.
