Finance ManagerThe Finance Manager oversees financial operations for the Division, ensuring accurate reporting, strong fiscal controls, and strategic financial planning across multiple projects. This role partners closely with team leads, project managers, operation and division leadership to evaluate project performance, manage cash flow, and support long-term organizational growth. The Finance Manager leads day-to-day operations, job-cost analysis, and month-end close activities while ensuring compliance with accounting standards, industry regulations, and company policies. Reporting to the Division Controller, this role will support finance transformation initiatives by investing in people / process / technology.Position DetailsPartner with operations, estimating, procurement, and executive teams to align financial operations with business goalsLead the P2P / OTC departmentsEnsure weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual requirements are met timelyCoach, mentor and supervise a team of 5+Support external audits, vendor relationships, and insurance reviewsDrive process improvements, system enhancements, and best practices in financial operationsAnalyze financial trends, project performance, and cost drivers to support decision-makingProvide financial modeling and scenario analysis for bids, proposals, and capital investmentsQualificationsBachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field (Master's or CPA preferred)7+ years of progressive experience in accounting or finance, at least 3 years within the construction industry, with Cost Plus (GMP), Fixed-fee, and Lump-sum revenue recognition / billingStrong understanding of construction accounting concepts such as WIP, retainage, lien releases, bonds, OCIP, job-costing, and percentage-of-completion revenue recognitionExperience with construction ERP systems (e.g., COINS, Viewpoint, Sage 300, Procore, CMiC) is a plus5+ years managing a team in a high growth organizationFamiliarity with Collective Bargaining Agreements (CBA) and overseeing union / non-union payroll5+ years financial operations oversightStrong accounting acumen with working knowledge of GAAPStrong organization skills with high level of attention to detailStrong written and verbal communication skillsStrong customer service skillsStrong analytical skillsStrong ability to prioritize and multi-taskProven ability to meet tight deadlines and work under pressureAbility to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretionComputer proficiency and technical aptitude with intermediate to expert level ability to utilize M365 Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Power BI, etc.
