SHR Talent is seeking an experienced Finance Manager with a strong background in manufacturing and strategic Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) for a contract opportunity in Nashville, TN.

This position is ideal for a hands-on finance professional who brings extensive manufacturing industry experience, strong analytical capabilities, and the ability to provide strategic financial insights that drive business performance.

The role will initially require a hybrid schedule during training before transitioning to remote work.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis within a manufacturing environment.
• Partner with operational and executive leadership to provide strategic financial insights and recommendations.
• Analyze manufacturing costs, profitability, margins, operational performance, and key financial metrics.
• Develop financial models, forecasts, and scenario analyses to support business decisions and long-term planning.
• Identify opportunities for cost optimization, process improvements, and increased operational efficiency.
• Prepare and present financial reports, performance analyses, and actionable recommendations to leadership.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to align financial strategies with business objectives.

Required Qualifications

• Extensive manufacturing industry experience is mandatory.
• Strong strategic FP&A experience within a manufacturing environment is required.
• Proven experience in financial forecasting, budgeting, financial modeling, and business performance analysis.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing financial drivers, including cost structures, margins, inventory, and operational profitability.
• Demonstrated ability to partner with senior leadership and translate complex financial data into actionable business strategies.
• Advanced Excel and financial analytical skills.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and business partnering abilities.
• Ability to work independently and contribute immediately in a contract capacity.
