Finance Manager – Manufacturing Business Unit
An established manufacturer is seeking a Finance Manager to lead financial activities. This is an opportunity to combine hands-on accounting, operational analysis, and team leadership while working closely with plant management to improve business performance.

What You’ll Do
- Lead plant accounting, month-end close, financial reporting, and account reconciliations.
- Partner with plant leadership to explain financial results, identify cost-saving opportunities, and support operational decisions.
- Manage budgeting and forecasting, including analysis of actual performance against expectations.
- Oversee standard costing, inventory accounting, fixed assets, and manufacturing variance analysis.
- Translate financial and operational data into practical recommendations.
- Maintain internal controls and support SOX compliance and audit requirements.
- Improve accounting processes, reporting accuracy, and visibility into plant costs.
- Supervise and develop a small accounting team.
What You’ll Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
- Strong manufacturing accounting experience, including cost accounting and inventory.
- Experience with financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
- Ability to communicate financial information clearly to operational leaders.
- A hands-on approach, strong analytical skills, and a commitment to process improvement.
Previous Finance Manager or Plant Controller experience is not required. Candidates with a solid manufacturing accounting foundation who are ready to advance into financial leadership are encouraged to apply.
Compensation & Benefits
- Base salary approximately $130,000, depending on experience.
- 10-15% target bonus, with payout based on company performance and potential upside.
