Finance Manager - FICThe Finance Manager - FIC is an integral part of Latham's Global Finance team. This role will be responsible for providing financial and strategic analysis to the leaders of the firm's industry groups, working with colleagues in Financial Insights & Consulting (FIC) and key stakeholders across the firm to develop Power BI dashboards, and providing financial and strategic analysis to the leaders of select client teams. This role will be located in our Global Services Office in Downtown Los Angeles.

Please note that this role may be eligible for a flexible working schedule that allows for a hybrid and in-office presence.Other key responsibilities include:Working with the firm's industry chairs and client teams to identify current performance and trends, comparing them to past and future goals, and working with cohort members to develop strategic business plans to meet established goalsDeveloping Power BI data visualizations, ensuring robust and innovative solutions meet business needs, and utilizing storytelling techniques to transform complex analyses into compelling narratives that drive informed financial decisionsManaging, leading, and implementing various finance-related projectsEvaluating and analyzing strategic initiatives by initiating and directing research on competition, markets, geographies, and areas of lawDeveloping financial models and reporting to identify trends and issues, and formulating recommendations and strategies for improving performanceProtecting and maintaining any highly sensitive, confidential, privileged, financial, and/or proprietary information that Latham & Watkins retainsWe'd love to hear from you if you:Possess knowledge of various information technology systems, including knowledge of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Business ObjectsExhibit strong knowledge of market research resources and financial reportingDemonstrate excellent financial modelling skills and project management skillsAnd have:A bachelor's degree or equivalent in economics, finance, business administration, or a related field, preferably a MBAA minimum of seven (7) years of analytical experience in finance or a related professional services environmentA minimum of two (2) years of leading projects and other initiatives, preferablyPrevious experience in a customer-focused position, preferablySuccessful candidates will not only be provided with an outstanding career opportunity and welcoming environment, but will also be provided with a generous total compensation package with bonuses awarded in recognition of both individual and firm performance.
