Our client is seeking a Budgeting and Reporting Manager to join its growing finance and accounting team. This role is ideal for an experienced accounting professional with a strong foundation in public accounting or industry accounting who is looking to make a meaningful impact through financial reporting, analysis, process improvement, and team leadership.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
- Analyze financial data and provide insights to support business decision-making
- Perform variance analysis and explain significant fluctuations in financial results
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities
- Maintain and enhance complex Excel-based financial models and reporting files
- Oversee month-end close processes
- Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and strengthen controls
- Mentor, train, and develop staff while helping drive team performance
- Partner with leadership on financial analysis and strategic initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required; CPA strongly preferred
- Approximately 5+ years of experience
- Prior supervisory experience preferred, including managing, mentoring, training, or developing staff
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills required
- Excellent analytical, communication, and organizational skills
