Finance Manager - Banking / Credit Union / Financial Services

A respected and growing financial institution is seeking a Finance Manager for a highly visible role supporting senior finance leadership. This opening is due to an internal promotion and offers the chance to step into a broad, hands-on position with meaningful ownership across finance, reporting, and regulatory support.

This role is centered on budgeting, forecasting, asset/liability management, financial reporting, and investment analysis, while also supporting key accounting activities and institution-specific reporting requirements. It’s an excellent fit for someone from a bank, credit union, or similar financial services environment who has experience with ALM, call reporting, financial statement preparation, and compliance-driven reporting.

Key responsibilities:

• Own and coordinate the budgeting and planning process
• Manage ALM analysis, reporting, and ongoing balance sheet modeling
• Support investment portfolio review, projections, and recommendations
• Prepare recurring and ad hoc financial reports for leadership
• Assist with month-end close, reconciliations, journal entries, and financial statements
• Support preparation of regulatory filings and call report-related reporting
• Partner on audit and examination support and help ensure readiness for reviewer requests
• Contribute to finance process improvement, scenario modeling, and strategic analysis
• Serve as a dependable resource for the department when senior finance leaders are unavailable

Preferred background:

• Experience in banking, credit union, or financial services
• Exposure to ALM, regulatory reporting, call reporting, budgeting, and financial analysis
• Strong accounting foundation with understanding of compliance-sensitive financial processes
• Ability to work independently in a lean team environment with broad responsibility
