Responsibilities
Lead all accounting and financial operations
Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning
Prepare monthly and annual financial statements
Present financial results to executive leadership and the Board
Ensure compliance with GAAP, grant requirements, and nonprofit regulations
Manage the annual audit and tax filings
Develop and maintain strong internal controls
Monitor cash flow and organizational financial performance
Mentor and develop the accounting team
Identify and implement process improvements
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required
CPA preferred
7+ years of progressive accounting and finance experience
Previous leadership or management experience
Nonprofit accounting experience preferred
Experience with budgeting, audits, and financial reporting
