Overview
The City of Louisburg is hiring a Finance Director. The Finance Director is responsible for maintaining the official accounting records of the city. This position performs a variety of complex technical accounting and finance functions in the maintenance of the fiscal records and systems of the City.

Qualifications
- A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required. A master’s degree and/or a Certified Public Accountant is preferred.
- Three to five years in accounting, financial, or a business work environment is required. Experience in public or fund accounting is preferred.
- Must possess the ability to make independent decisions. Must also be able to analyze problems logically and choose effective solutions.
- Must demonstrate advanced supervisory, public relations, organizational, oral and written communication skills.
