Finance Coordinator

Finance CoordinatorIllumination is seeking a Finance Coordinator, this position will provide day-to-day accounting needs across different departments including overhead, development, and marketing. They will be instrumental in maintaining accurate accounting records and adhering to accepted procedures for all production payments. A strong work ethic and a positive mindset are critical for this entry-level role as well as being highly organized, detail-oriented, and collaborative.ResponsibilitiesWork closely with Illumination's teams including Overhead, Development and Marketing to process union, non-union, and above-the-line payrollExecute weekly accounts payable for production and studio teams such as, but not limited to paying invoices, setting up vendors, initiating, and finalizing all paperworkReview and process employee expense reports; perform monthly reconciliation of corporate cardsPrepare journal entries with supporting backup, ensuring that correct account codes are utilized, and transactions are accurately explained and supportedMaintain digital filing of all AP and related documentationPerform ad hoc financial analyses and miscellaneous projects as neededQualificationBachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, or related field preferred1- 2 years of related accounting experienceExperience processing payroll through Entertainment Partners or similar is preferred but not requiredHandles confidential information with a high degree of discretion and good judgmentIATSE Local 839 and Local 700 Experience is a plusExcellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skillsDetail-oriented with a high degree of accuracyExperience working with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and AdobeStrong technical aptitude with the ability to quickly learn new softwareThe base salary range for this role is $31 - $36 per hour.
