Last Mile Site Leader – Cedar Rapids, IA

We are seeking a Last Mile Site Leader in Cedar Rapids, IA.

Weekend availability is required.

Essential Functions

• Coordinate flow for communication between Haulers/Delivery Teams/Flatbed Drivers, Call Center and Local Client Management Teams
• Provide on-site presence daily, weekly, or bi-weekly to ensure Haulers/Delivery Teams follow procedures
• Oversee recruiting, processing, and performance of Haulers
• Develop and maintain relations with vendors
• Ensure follow-up on shipping discrepancies, damaged goods and in-home damage claims
• Interface with end customers to ensure effective in-home delivery
• Maintain monthly operation reports including statistics and customer service scores
• Other duties as assigned

Skills & Competencies

• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent mathematical skills, able to calculate figures such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume
• Ability to analyze technical and scientific journals as they pertain to the business and market
• Strong problem solving and reasoning abilities to deal with a variety of problems and devise creative solutions

Pay Range

$85k-$90k per year

*The above stated pay range is the anticipated starting salary range for the position. The Company may adjust this range in light of prevailing market conditions and other factors such as location. The Company will work directly with the selected candidate(s) on the final starting salary in accordance with all applicable laws.
