We work with customers from the US, Europe, Asia, and elsewhere, providing high-quality barrels for distilling a variety of liquors and spirits.Are you a hard worker who takes pride in quality? We're looking for a motivated Final Inspector to join our production team. In this role, you'll be on the front lines of quality control by physically lifting and inspecting finished barrels, then efficiently 4-packing them for shipment.

An added bonus, the more you accurately inspect, the more money you make. $27-29 for a skilled and efficient inspector isn't uncommon.Starting Wage: $21 - This includes $2 attendance bonus.Shift: Monday - Friday 7:00am - 3:30pmResponsibilitiesLift barrels onto inspection stands and perform quality checks on each unitInspect for defects in seams, hoops, heads, and overall integrityReject and tag non-conforming barrels for rework or disposition4-pack approved barrels onto the shipping platform quickly and accuratelyRe-label barrels to indicate inspection completedMaintain a clean, safe, and organized work areaFollow all safety procedures and use required PPE at all timesOccasionally perform other tasks and duties as assigned by managementQualificationsDetail-oriented — you catch problems others might missManufacturing or warehouse experience is a plusAble to lift/roll heavy barrels repeatedly throughout a full shiftComfortable standing, bending, and working at a fast pace for 8–10 hoursReliable, punctual, and a strong team playerPhysical RequirementsComfortable working in a loud, active production environment with hearing protection providedFrequent lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling (75+ lbs)Standing, bending, kneeling, and walking for extended periodsAbility to work in varying temperatures and environmentsBenefits - Independent Stave Company offers competitive compensation and benefits to employees at each of our facilities.
