The Final Assembly Technician uses hand tools, power tools, machines, and instrumentation to complete assigned projects. The Final Assembly Technician handles electronic components and is trained to understand schematics and blueprints.Duties and ResponsibilitiesRead and comprehend instructions and follow established procedures.Assembly, configuration, and integration of high-end electronic equipment.Installation, termination, and testing of low voltage wiring.Read work orders, blueprints, and sketches.Maintain workstation and equipment.Collect all materials and equipment needed to begin the process.Document and record of production quantities and time.Document and report any issues or concerns to leadership.Work closely with other team members to complete projects by assigned deadlines.Follow all safety protocols and wear appropriate protective gear, including safety goggles.Test and inspect components to ensure uniformity and quality.May perform other related duties as assigned.QualificationsHigh school diploma or GED equivalentA minimum of 5 years working in manufacturing or in a related fieldAbility to operate Voltmeters and hand toolsExcellent communication skills, both verbal and writtenAbility to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and schematicsStrong attention to detail and problem-solving skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamKnowledge of AC/DC voltageAbility to multitaskWork Environment and Physical RequirementsWork is performed in a manufacturing environment, with exposure to noise, dust, and varying temperaturesAbility to stoop, reach, stand, walk, and sit for extended periods of timeAbility to push, pull, and lift objects weighing up to 50 poundsMay be required to climb stairs, kneel, or crouch to access equipment or retrieve materials
