Final AssemblerThe Final Assembler plays a key role in the completion of large industrial generators by assembling exterior panels, trailers, and tanks, and ensuring all final components meet customer specifications. This position involves working from detailed blueprints and schematics, using a variety of hand, power, and pneumatic tools, and preparing finished products for shipment through crating and safe material handling.ResponsibilitiesPerform final assembly of large industrial generators, ensuring all components fit and function according to specifications.Assemble exterior panels, trailers, and tanks that support and house the generators.Complete the final stages of generator assembly, including any remaining mechanical or structural components.Read and interpret detailed blueprints and schematics to meet specific customer requirements.Use hand tools, power tools, and pneumatic tools safely and effectively during assembly tasks.Crate and prepare finished products for shipment as needed, ensuring secure packaging and protection.Lift and move components and materials weighing up to 50 pounds throughout the shift.Work safely on ladders when required to access higher areas of assemblies.Maintain a clean and organized work area in the production environment.Collaborate with trainers and team members to follow standard work instructions and production processes.Essential SkillsAt least 6 months of experience in large product mechanical assembly.Experience in automotive or similar mechanical environments is acceptable.At least 6 months of experience using hand tools, power tools, and pneumatic tools.Ability to read and work directly from blueprints and schematics.Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on a regular basis.Comfort working on ladders when required.Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.Ability to follow safety procedures and standard operating instructions.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience in automotive mechanics, carpentry, or production assembly.Experience working with large industrial or mechanical equipment.Comfort working in an open bay or warehouse production setting.Willingness to work night shift or first shift based on business needs.Ability to learn quickly under the guidance of a trainer.Why Work Here?Employees join a growing organization with a modern, recently built facility and a strong culture of internal career growth. Night shift opportunities run Monday through Thursday from 8:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. with paid breaks and lunch and include a shift differential. First shift opportunities run Monday through Friday from 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. New hires begin their first day at 6:00 a.m. and are paired with a trainer to ensure proper onboarding and skill development.Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of North Mankato, MN.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.00 - $24.00/hr.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
