Filler OperatorFiller Operators will be responsible for leading to continuous improvement and total employee engagement by maintaining a good working relationship with all departments.

Responsibilities include operating and maintaining aseptic machines, processes, and focusing on KPI goals as well as ensuring all GMP, SOP, GFSI, USDA, FDA, NCDA, and HACCP and Food Safety requirements are met.Supervisory Responsibilities: None.Duties/Responsibilities:Identify/troubleshoot equipment that are under performingMaintain all regulatory, customer, and in-house paperwork as requiredImplement improvement plans that optimize resources and KPIsAssist management as needed to support projects and other initiatives as assignedSet up, sterilize, operate, continuously monitor aseptic filling equipment, batching equipment, and packing equipmentConduct required periodic packaging integrity testing and weight checks, and metal detection using established validation methodsEnsure that the correct packaging materials are being used for the product being produced. Track and document machine/equipment down-timeEnsure a supply of hydrogen peroxide to the filling machine for material sterilizationWork with engineering to perform PMs, improve/update/complete and establish proper PM frequency on your designated equipmentKnow how to use LOTO (lockout Tagout) and apply it correctlyUse and apply 5S standards to their work areasUnderstand/communicate machine/line-specific KPIs and report to managementOwn daily performance KPIs for multiple production linesAbility to multi-task and prioritize; strong time management skills with the ability to work without extensive supervisionUnderstand and adhere to all safety guidelines and GMPs (Good Manufacturing Practices)CIP, COP, and SIP before and after productionAssist in allergen monitoring programs Assist engineering in routine PM'SSanitationForklift dutiesHousekeepingTroubleshootingBatching & Processing assistanceQA monitoring and recording assistanceUphold SQF requirements including promotion of a strong & positive food safety cultureActive involvement in implementation, upkeep and continuous improvement of food safety as part of an interdisciplinary teamStewardship for our B-corp mission to promote worldwide health and wellness by fostering the delivery of high quality, healthy foods through sustainable methods.Required Skills/Abilities:Thorough working knowledge of all current OSHA and Safety StandardsAttention to detailMust work well in teams and demonstrate behavior conducive to promoting strong teamworkMust possess a positive attitude in a fast-paced production environmentMust be able to understand and follow instructions in EnglishEducation and Experience:High School degree or equivalentForklift and Aerial platform certification within 3 months of hireThe ability to complete better processing control school & Acidified Foods course in first 6 months of hire.Physical Requirements:Ability to stand and walk for 8-hour shiftsMust be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times multiple times per shiftFrequent bending, crouching, or twistingWork in various adverse conditions such as tight or enclosed spaces, heights, and temperature extremes to complete work assignmentsMon-Fri 11pm-7:30am
