Packaging Equipment OperatorOperates, cleans, and maintains all packaging equipment located downstream of the checkweigher to ensure continuous, high-efficiency production.
Responsibilities include:Operation & Monitoring: Run downstream packaging machinery and maintain consistent product flow.Setups & Changeovers: Perform line changeovers and adjust equipment guide rails for different product runs.Cleaning & Sanitation: Execute routine machine cleanings, washdowns, and line clearances following safety standards.Quality & Safety: Inspect final packaging quality while following Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) and PPE protocols.Working hours: 10:00 PM - 6:00 AMSkills: 1+ years in packaging or manufacturing environments. Hands-on experience with case packers, labelers, shrink wrappers, or palletizers. High school diploma, GED, or technical certificate.Qualifications: Basic mechanical aptitude and hand-tool experience. Ability to troubleshoot operational jams and minor machine faults. High attention to detail and adherence to safety procedures. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.Education: High School
