Fill Line Operator$19.00 per hour1st Shift5:30am-4:00pm (Mon-Thurs)QPS Employment Group has a great Fill Line Operator position available at a company in Columbia, IL. This is a 1st shift position with the opportunity for hire.Fill Line Operator Responsibilities Include But Are Not Limited To:Operate, monitor, and adjust fill line equipment to ensure accurate product volumes and consistent outputSet up filling machinery for different product types, container sizes, and production runsVerify product specifications, batch numbers, and labeling requirements before and during productionPerform routine quality checks, including fill weights, seal integrity, and labeling accuracyMaintain compliance with OSHA, EPA, and company safety standards when handling chemicalsSafely handle, transfer, and package hazardous and non-hazardous liquid productsConduct basic troubleshooting and minor repairs on filling and packaging equipmentClean and sanitize tanks, lines, and work areas following proper proceduresDocument production data, inventory usage, and quality results accuratelyWork closely with warehouse, quality control, and maintenance teams to meet production goalsFill Line Operator Requirements:High school diploma or equivalentPrevious experience in manufacturing, chemical processing, or packaging operations preferredAbility to operate industrial machinery and understand production workflowsBasic math skills for measuring and verifying product quantitiesAbility to read and interpret Safety Data Sheets (SDS) and work instructionsStrong attention to detail and commitment to safetyAbility to lift up to 50 pounds regularlyAbility to work in a warehouse or production environment with exposure to chemicals, noise, and varying temperaturesPreferred Qualifications:Forklift certification (or ability to obtain)Experience with automated filling systems or chemical blending processesMechanical aptitude for equipment adjustments and troubleshootingKnowledge of hazardous material handling and labeling regulationsAbout us: QPS Employment Group is a full-service staffing firm comprised of dedicated and passionate people with over 50 offices throughout the United States.
