This is an entry-level clerk/assistant position with an opportunity for professional growth in a busy and rewarding practice.

General responsibilities include the support of the Attorneys and Paralegals within the Charitable Sector practice group, which includes but is not limited to:Create, maintain, and organize electronic filesLocate and retrieve files, folders, or documents for firm employees; also re-file documents when returnedFiling, faxing, copying, and mailing items as requiredMaintain current and accurate information in our databaseUpdate project tracking lists and spreadsheetsClient interface (including with clergy and other ecclesiastical/denominational religious leaders)Prepare correspondenceCourier duties as needed for the firmRequirements:Minimum 1-year experience in a law firm/office environmentAdministrative, verbal, and written communication skillsAttention to detailCustomer service skillsTime managementOrganizational skillsAccurate typing and prior exposure to Microsoft Office programsAbility to operate computers and photocopiers/scannersA college degree is preferredValid CA driver's license, vehicle, and active car insuranceA candidate with a demonstrated interest in religious, tax-exempt, and/or nonprofit organizations is desirablePhysical Requirements:Ability to lift and carry 30 poundsFrequent standing and walkingSitting for up to four hours at a timeBending and stooping as neededBenefits:8 medical plan options with employer-funded HSADental and vision plans401(k) plan with significant employer matchingGreat working environmentOrange County Register 2020 and 2021 Top Workplace
