As part of this team, you'll work alongside a group of professionals that are committed to excellence and innovation.About the RoleThe Field Training Officer (FTO) serves as the principal training resource for a datacenter campus or metro location.
In addition to providing training, job functions may include problem resolution, service enhancement, and process improvement as it pertains to safety and training. The Field Training Officer reports directly to the Field Training Manager (FTM) and will work closely with other sites, regional, and headquarters leadership. This position will have no direct reports but will work closely with campus leadership to assess employees, site, and campus needs.What You'll DoIn this role, you will:Serve as the primary point of contact for onboarding and sustainment trainingTrain and certify new security personnel, coordinating with Administrative Officers (AOs) on OTJ tasks as neededPerform ongoing training and evaluation to maintain high security standardsTrack training completion (production, sustainment, new site starts, performance gaps, etc.)Promote and prioritize safety awareness across the campusChampion global and regional safety initiativesCoordinate with local leadership and PMO training teams to develop and implement training plansRecommend onboarding and training schedules based on staffing needsConduct recurring training auditsPrepare and submit critical and confidential reports to leadershipMaintain training and safety documentation in alignment with policies and proceduresProvide feedback on employee competence, compliance, and moraleIdentify security gaps and recommend improvementsEvaluate and escalate potential safety risksWhat You Need to ApplyAssociate's degree2+ years of experience in security and/or business management2+ years of training experience (or equivalent combination of education and experience)Data center and training development experience preferredStrong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Word, SharePoint, Excel)Reliable communication and transportationWhat You'll GetWe offer more than just a job—we provide the opportunity to be part of a collaborative and supportive team where your contributions are valued and your growth matters.
