Field Technician

Job Description
About the Role
Our client is seeking a field technician to install, troubleshoot, and support hardware and software equipment across a multi-state customer territory.
Key Responsibilities:

• Install specialized hardware and software equipment at new and existing customer sites, including full ground-up builds and upgrades to legacy systems
• Partner with customers and outside vendors to keep on-site installation projects moving forward
• Act as the on-the-ground project lead, coordinating with the internal project management team to keep work on schedule
• Handle device wiring, controller configuration, and on-site software and network setup for PCs and connected equipment

Requirements:

• 2+ years of hands-on technical experience working with hardware
• Working knowledge of networking and computing fundamentals
• Willingness and ability to travel frequently across a multi-state territory

Preferred:

• Exposure to parking systems
• Experience with hardware that includes credit card or payment functionality
