Job Description
The primary responsibility of the Field Technician is the performance of water tests and sample collections at assigned locations. Testing and sample collection may include municipal wells, city water, private homes, public locations, sewer and water plants, wastewater, and pools. Employees may also set up sample composite machines for next-day sample pickup. Employees are trained in proper and compliant collection techniques as well as transport protocols to a certified laboratory.
* * *The Field Technician reports to the Jersey Shore Laboratory in Waretown, New Jersey. Candidates must possess a valid driver’s license as well as a clean driving record to drive to and from sampling locations using a company vehicle. The starting rate of pay is $18.00 per hour for a full-time, 30-hour workweek, Monday through Friday.
