Rate: Up to $60.00/hr BOE
Field Technician 3 to support our Norfolk Flight OPS department. As a member of the Flight OPS department you'll get to support to provide technical assistance to the TAF RTBS at an unclassified level.
Responsibilities
Installs, operates, maintains, repairs and modifies equipment. Performs a variety of maintenance and technical support on products such as equipment, integrated systems and subsystems, and software at customer and/or field locations. Analyzes and evaluates products and related performance. Troubleshoots and diagnoses malfunctions to eliminate problem in minimum time. Installs, upgrades and removes products ensuring coordinative engineering field change. Maintains effective customer communications and relations. May provide onsite training of customer support personnel.
• Performs a variety of maintenance, modifications and technical support on E-2C Avionics and Electrical systems, equipment, integrated systems, and subsystems, at various customer and/or field locations.
• Supports testing, exercises, and operations at OCONUS location.
• Serves as a resource to others in the resolution of problems and issues.
• Installs, operates, maintains, repairs and modifies equipment.
• Performs a variety of maintenance and technical support on products such as equipment, integrated systems and subsystems, and software at customer and/or field locations.

Basic Qualifications for Field Technician 3
• An associates degree in appropriate technical discipline and four (4) years of E2C specialized experience or High School diploma and six (6) years of E2C Avionics and Electrical Systems experience.
• Must be willing to travel OCONUS 100% of time
• A wide and comprehensive acquaintance with, and understanding of, both general and specific aspects of the job and their practical application to complex problems and situations ordinarily encountered.
• Must be able to work with minimal supervision. Work may be done without established procedures.
