Field Technician 3

Field Technician 3 to support our Norfolk Flight OPS department. As a member of the Flight OPS department you'll get to support to provide technical assistance to the TAF RTBS at an unclassified level. Responsibilities include:

• Installs, operates, maintains, repairs and modifies equipment.
• Performs a variety of maintenance and technical support on products such as equipment, integrated systems and subsystems, and software at customer and/or field locations.
• Analyzes and evaluates products and related performance.
• Troubleshoots and diagnoses malfunctions to eliminate problem in minimum time.
• Installs, upgrades and removes products ensuring coordinative engineering field change.
• Maintains effective customer communications and relations. May provide onsite training of customer support personnel.

Basic Qualifications for Field Technician 3:

• An associate's degree in appropriate technical discipline and four (4) years of E2C specialized experience or High School diploma and six (6) years of E2C Avionics and Electrical Systems experience.
• Must be willing to travel OCONUS 100% of time.
• A wide and comprehensive acquaintance with, and understanding of, both general and specific aspects of the job and their practical application to complex problems and situations ordinarily encountered.
• Must be able to work with minimal supervision. Work may be done without established procedures.
