Job PostingPosition Summary: Provide hands-on field support and analytics to Account Managers and customers. The job will consist of approximately 50 hours a week but not limited in any way. Day-to-day will consist of driving an F-150 to and from the field for our customers. A hydro blaster technician is responsible for operating pressure washer equipment for industrial cleaning.
The duties of a hydro blaster technician include transporting the hydro blaster to the site, setting up and inspecting the hydro blaster before each use, operating the machine safely, conducting routine maintenance tasks to keep the machine in good working condition, ensuring all safety requirements are fulfilled, safely disposing all collected wastes, and maintaining a detailed log of conducted work activities.Essential Functions:Collect critical customer information to improve customer product and supplier relationshipsConduct pressure pumping operations safely and efficientlyProperly collect and distribute field samplesAccurately read and analyze data for Account ManagersManage materials inventoryProperly maintain, operate and repair all company equipment required for performing job dutiesProvide excellent customer service skills with all customers and field office personnelMaintain the highest level of safety at all timesWork well independently and in a team atmosphereQualifications:High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED)Minimum of 2 years' previous oilfield experience operating and maintaining high-pressure wellsForklift certification preferredClass B CDL with current Medical Certificate, Hazmat, Tanker and Airbrake endorsements a plusMust possess a valid driver's licenseSkills & Abilities:Computer Skills: Have basic computer skills. Efficiently navigate a web browser, follow online instructions, type and use a mouse.Customer Service Skills: Meet internal and external commitments, respond promptly to customer needs, and solicit customer feedback to improve service.Work Ethic: Be dependable, trustworthy, truthful, and credible in the workplace. Display a sincere desire to provide service or assistance, follow instructions, and take responsibility for own actions. Show a commitment to doing the best job possible.Physical Abilities: Lift and carry 50 pounds in various packaging.
Tip and move 55 gallon drums, weighing up to 600 pounds, with the use of a drum dolly.Work Environment:Indoors and outdoors, with driving involved. Employees could be faced with working in temperature extremes. Employees must be able to lift and carry 100 pounds, manual dexterity and mechanical aptitude helpful.
