Field Support Technician (North America)

Field Support TechnicianGEOLOG North America region seeks to add a resource in its Houston office: The Field Support Technician will be responsible for the proper installation of Geolog's mobile laboratory on oil rigs onshore and offshore and for the maintenance of equipment. The position will report directly to the US Operations Manager.

Responsibilities include, but not limited, to:Mobile Laboratory installation and equipment maintenance: To install, test, maintain, repair damaged equipment, to refurbish and control equipment returning to the base from the fieldField support: To regularly contact field operations for support and assistance, to train crew members on equipment maintenance, to give field equipment support and to perform equipment installation on oil rigs when required.Store inventory and warehouse organization, monitoring the level of spares and consumablesTechnical Documentation: To ensure the technical and Health & Safety documentation is complete and updated in the mobile laboratories in the fieldRequirements:Education level: High school with an Electronics and/or IIT specialization or higherMinimum of 5 years experience in a technical/technician roleDriving LicenseFluent in English.Highly organized with ability to coordinate and prioritize multiple tasks and projectsTeam player with strong communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work alone on projects as well as within a group / teamRole offers an outstanding opportunity for a qualified individual to develop their skills and further their career within a fast-growing environment.
