FIELD SUPERVISOR - UNDERGROUND UTILITIES

Field SupervisorTAKE THE LEAD IN THE FIELDA well-established heavy civil and underground utility contractor is looking for an experienced Field Supervisor to lead crews and oversee day-to-day operations on underground utility and heavy civil projects throughout Northern Indiana.This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on construction leader who understands watermain, sanitary sewer, storm sewer, excavation, and underground utility installation and knows how to keep projects moving safely, efficiently, and on schedule.WHAT YOU'LL DOSupervise daily field operations and underground utility crewsCoordinate manpower, equipment, materials, and subcontractorsOversee installation of watermain, sanitary sewer, storm sewer, and related utilitiesRead and interpret construction plans, specifications, and utility drawingsEnsure work is completed according to plans, specifications, and project schedulesMaintain strong production, quality, and safety standardsCoordinate closely with Project Managers, Foremen, inspectors, and subcontractorsIdentify field issues and develop solutions to keep projects on trackMonitor productivity and communicate progress to project managementConduct daily pre-task planning and enforce company safety proceduresAssist with scheduling, material coordination, and project documentationTrain, develop, and hold field personnel accountableWHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR5+ years of construction field experience, preferably in heavy civil or underground utilitiesPrevious experience as a Field Supervisor, Superintendent, Foreman, or similar leadership roleStrong knowledge of underground wet utilities, including watermain, sanitary sewer, and storm sewerAbility to read and understand construction plans and specificationsExperience coordinating crews, equipment, materials, and subcontractorsStrong understanding of excavation, trenching, grading, and utility installationExcellent communication and leadership skillsStrong commitment to safety and qualityAbility to work independently and make sound field decisionsValid driver's licenseWHY JOIN?Established heavy civil and underground utility contractorStable work throughout Northern IndianaOpportunity to take ownership of field operationsWork on municipal, commercial, and infrastructure projectsCareer growth opportunitiesTeam-oriented work environmentCompetitive compensation and benefitsTHE IDEAL CANDIDATEWe're looking for a hands-on field leader, not someone who wants to sit behind a desk.
