Field Supervisor Underground ConstructionThe Field Supervisor is a member of our outside plant division, directed by the Construction Manager. The primary role of the Field Supervisor will be to lead our in-house fiber underground/ micro trenching construction crews, be responsible for the overall progress of the project as well as the scheduling of workers and the delivery of equipment and materials. They will supervise the foreman and crews performing work at each job site.

This position will be accountable for the timely completion of the project and ensuring that the project is constructed in strict accordance with plans, specifications, and local codes. RESPONSIBILITIES Provide on-site management of field related activities on construction project siteSupervise construction effort to ensure project is constructed in accordance with design, within budget, and schedulePerform inspection of job sites and individual work dutiesAttend pre-construction meetings with citiesAssist in training foreman and crew membersCreate and maintain positive relationships with workers, customers, suppliers, vendors, and subcontractorsPlan, coordinate, and supervise on-site functions including scheduling and material controlManage QC program to ensure quality work in the fieldProvide technical assistance such as interpretation of drawings, recommending construction methods and equipment as requiredReview daily production reports, material usage sheets, keep track of work hours, complete and maintain accurate "as-built maps" for areas builtWhite lining projectsTraffic control set upEnsure all personnel comply with project procedures, safety program requirements, and work policesResolve complaints with property owners in areas where our personnel are workingOther duties as reasonably assignedQualificationsMinimum 5 years of fiber underground construction supervisory experienceExperience with trenching, micro trenching, boring, cable installation, aerial construction, and fiber splicing projectsExcellent communication skills and supervisory skills with field construction personnelStrong project management skillsProficient computer skills, including the ability to compose and respond to professional emailsStrong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel for creating, maintaining, and tracking spreadsheets and production reportsExperience using Microsoft Teams for communication, meetings, and file sharingComfortable using tablets, laptops, and mobile applications in a field environmentPay range: $70,304-$80,000Pramira is proud to provide equal employment opportunities to all employees and applicants for employment and prohibits discrimination and harassment of any type without regard to race, color, religion, age, sex, national origin, disability status, genetics, protected veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, or any other characteristic protected by federal, state or local laws.
