As a member of our team you'll enjoy excellent benefits, opportunities for growth, and an encouraging culture that supports work / life balance.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:The Field Superintendent will be tasked with managing and driving the framing construction activities of projects while interacting with customers, trade partners, municipalities, and other PBS associates to deliver a quality product. The Field Supervisor I has a critical role in creating a Truly Outstanding Customer Experience for our customers. A strong belief in the mission and goals of the company and the capability of working in a team environment are necessary for this position.Assist with the daily supervision and execution of the construction schedules to deliver projects on schedule through adherence to even-flow production.Delivering all projects with zero defects at time of completionCoordinating and managing Trade Partners to deliver high quality projects while meeting budgetsCoordinating with customers to ensure issues are quickly resolvedCalling and walking required inspections and creating and managing multiple punch listsMaintains a clean jobsite for trade partners, customers and municipalitiesEnforces company safety policies including associates use of personal protective equipmentCross training with other associates to learn new skills needed for advancementTaking responsibility for the jobsite when other managers are absentDemonstrates a commitment to the quality improvement process and the philosophy of continuous improvement; identify and respond actively and with sensitivity to the needs of all customers; participates as a team player in all phases of the organization; and is open and responsive to change.Comply with all company policies and proceduresOther duties as assignedEducation and/or Work Experience Requirements:Experience in production building preferredKnowledge of common building materials used in residential, multi-family and commercial constructionExcellent organizational skills requiredExcellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills, bi-lingual a plusAttention to detail, takes pride in quality of workEfficient and able to complete assignments within a given deadlineStrong work ethic towards accomplishing goals and ability to work in a team environmentWorking knowledge of computers (Microsoft Windows, Office and general internet)High School degree or equivalentValid driver's license and reliable vehicle requiredWhy Clayton?
