Field Services Technician – Welding And MechanicalThermal Specialties is looking for a Field Services Technician – Welding and Mechanical for our Construction Services division in Fort Worth, TX.Thermal Specialties is a family owned custom manufacturer and service organization. From next-generation industrial furnace systems and heat-treating capabilities to refractory installation and repair and insulation materials, Thermal Specialties is the single-source provider for high-temperature thermal processing applications.Role And Responsibilities:3 plus years of experience in ironwork, welding, mechanical troubleshooting, and / or support - preferredKnowledge of Industrial Furnace Operation, Mechanical Assembly, and installation of combustion equipment - preferredAbility to read fabrication/installation drawingsUtilize industry tools and equipment, including powered saws, hand shears, chipping knives, portable grinders, hand files, and scrapersUse precision measuring tools to inspect grooves and anglesWeld parts in flat, vertical, and/or overhead positionsConduct tests to check weld quality, including hydrostatic, x-ray, and dimension toleranceAbility to work as a teamAbility to intelligently interact with customersQualified Candidates Must Possess:Education must be a high school diploma or equivalentValid driver's license and clean driving recordBe at work on time.
