As a Field Service Technician with Peak Refreshments , you will provide superior customer service as you troubleshoot break room & refreshment equipment. Working at our customer's facility, our service technicians are responsible for preventive maintenance, service, installation and customer training to ensure customer satisfaction. You will maintain the proper parts and supplies in your service vehicle in order to have what’s necessary on hand.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES

• Receive dispatched service calls as assigned and ensure prompt response based on estimated time of arrival
• Perform preventative maintenance, troubleshoot/diagnose and service equipment to factory settings
• Maintain inventory and maintenance on company property
• Installation & removal of equipment
• Document all work performed and close out all activities upon completion
• Maintain a professional appearance and follow established safety standards
• Consistently present a professional image, both in personal appearance and condition of company equipment
• Professionally communicate to customer services performed
• Cover a service area and help in other areas as needed
• Ability to work overtime, weekends, and holidays when needed
• Assist with running routes, merchandising market displays when needed

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

• Field service tech for more than 2 years or a similar position
• Troubleshooting, diagnosing and repairing various types of vending, coffee and refreshment equipment
• Demonstrated experience working in direct contact with customers on service-related activities
• A 2-year technical certification, apprenticeship training program, on the job training and or military equivalent
• High School diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver’s license with proof of an excellent driving record

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Must be able to lift 60 pounds
• Position requires sitting, standing, twisting, reaching, pushing, and pulling
• Position requires bending, stooping, kneeling or squatting on a daily basis. May be up to 30% of the day
• Position requires driving company van or large box truck to and from customer sites
