Kitchen Appliance Service Technician – Hot Side (Field Service)We are seeking an experienced Hot-Side Kitchen Appliance Service Technician to support commercial clients throughout Manhattan and the NYC boroughs. This is a field service role focused on diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining commercial cooking equipment in restaurants, hotels, institutional kitchens, and foodservice facilities.The ideal technician is customer-focused, technically strong, and comfortable working independently in a fast-paced NYC environment.Key ResponsibilitiesDiagnose, service, and repair hot-side commercial kitchen equipment, including:Gas & electric rangesOvens (convection, deck, combi)FryersGriddles & charbroilersSteamers & kettlesPerform preventive maintenance and emergency service calls in the fieldTroubleshoot electrical, gas, and mechanical issues efficientlyRead and interpret wiring diagrams, schematics, and service manualsCommunicate professionally with kitchen staff, managers, and clientsAccurately document service work, parts used, and time on work ordersMaintain company vehicle, tools, and inventoryAdhere to safety standards, gas codes, and NYC regulationsQualifications3+ years of experience servicing commercial hot-side kitchen equipmentStrong electrical and gas troubleshooting skillsAbility to work independently in a field service environmentValid driver's license and clean driving recordEPA certification a plus (not required for hot side)Factory training or CFESA certification a plusComfortable traveling daily throughout Manhattan and boroughsWhat We OfferCompetitive hourly pay + overtimeCompany vehicle, gas card, and toolsConsistent field work in a dense service territorySupportive service dispatch and management teamOpportunities for training and advancement
