Field TechnicianHiFyve is hiring a Field Technician in the heavy equipment construction repair industry in Slinger, WI!Employment Type: Regular, Full-TimeShift: Day shiftLocation: Field-based out of Slinger, WI (on-site / customer locations)Rate of Pay: $33 - $37/hourJob Duties and ResponsibilitiesTroubleshoot, diagnose, repair, and recondition construction, municipal, and highway-related heavy equipmentPerform large diesel engine, hydraulic, and electrical system repairs and servicingProvide field service support while maintaining strong relationships with customersResearch issues and recommend repair solutions, improvements, or product upgradesMaintain high-quality service by following established service and safety standardsAttend factory and technical training to stay current on equipment and systemsRepresent the company professionally at all times, including appearance, conduct, and operation of company vehiclesCommunicate findings, repair status, and recommendations clearly with customers and internal teamsAccurately document repairs, service work, and related resultsContribute to team goals and assist with related tasks as neededEducation RequirementsHigh school diploma or GED requiredTrade school degree or equivalent hands-on industry experience strongly preferredKnowledge, Skills, and AbilitiesMinimum 2+ years of full-time heavy equipment repair experienceExperience troubleshooting construction, municipal, or highway equipmentStrong diagnostic skills in diesel engines, hydraulics, and electrical systemsValid driver's license with a clean driving record requiredCDL preferred but not requiredMust own a respectable set of hand toolsAbility to pass a pre-employment mechanical aptitude testStrong customer service, communication, and organizational skillsAbility to work in physically demanding environments and varying weather conditions
