Field Service Technician | $20-$25/hr
Express Employment Professionals is seeking an experienced Field Service Technician for a growing company. This position is ideal for a self-motivated individual with strong mechanical skills, commercial tire experience, and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service.
Pay

• $20-$25/hr
• Based on experience

Requirements

• Clean Driving Record Required
• Valid Driver's License required
• High School Diploma or GED preferred
• ASE and/or TIA Certification preferred (or willingness to complete training)
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Field Service Technician
• Minimum of 2 years of commercial tire technician experience

Job Responsibilities

• Perform commercial tire service, including mounting, dismounting, balancing, and repairs
• Respond to roadside service calls and emergency customer needs
• Diagnose tire and service-related issues and perform on-site repairs
• Determine repairable tire conditions and complete necessary repairs
• Operate service vehicles and equipment safely
• Maintain and clean service equipment and work areas
• Assist in the shop when field service calls are limited
• Follow OSHA regulations and company safety procedures
• Provide professional and timely customer service

• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting abilities
• Ability to safely operate tire service equipment and shop tools
• Customer-focused with a positive attitude
• Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision
• Team-oriented mindset and strong communication skills
• Dependable and safety-conscious

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift and maneuver commercial tires and wheels
• Ability to lift up to 250 pounds with assistance when needed
• Frequent standing, walking, bending, squatting, stretching, and reaching
• Ability to work in physically demanding conditions for extended periods
• Strong visual awareness, depth perception, and attention to detail

Work Environment

• Primarily outdoor work with exposure to varying weather conditions
• Occasional indoor shop work when service calls are slow
• Moderate to high noise levels, with occasional exposure to very loud environments
• Fast-paced work requiring flexibility and responsiveness
