Field Service TechnicianSt. Louis, MO | Full-TimeAbout The RoleWe're hiring a Field Service Technician to join our Service team in St. Louis.

You'll manage technical support across a geographical area, perform preventative and pro-active service, and be the first line of support ensuring our customers get the level of service they expect from SumnerOne.This role combines technical troubleshooting, customer relationship building, and equipment expertise. You'll work independently in the field, travel up to 100 miles per day, and stay connected with dispatch and your team throughout each day.What You'll DoCore Responsibilities:Manage technical support for accounts within your service areaPerform preventative maintenance and pro-active service callsTroubleshoot equipment issues and prepare repair estimatesMaintain organized car stock, service manuals, and service bulletinsKeep all service information current on laptop and dispatch systemPromote and explain service agreements to customersCommunicate customer problems and equipment requirements to Field Service Manager and SalesComplete paperwork, warranty processing, and parts tracking in a timely mannerPerform ongoing product training and complete scheduled coursesDay-to-Day Expectations:Carry tools and equipment up to 50 lbs consistently, rotate equipment up to 100 lbsDrive 100+ miles daily within your service areaKneel and squat for extended periods during service callsMaintain professional appearance and vehicle cleanlinessAsk customers if they need additional help before leavingStay current on SumnerOne products and servicesSuggest product and service improvements to customersContribute ideas to the service team on how we can improve operationsWho We're Looking ForYou have solid mechanical and troubleshooting skills with a problem-solving mindset. You may be coming in with field service experience, or you may be entry-level with strong technical aptitude and eagerness to learn.
