Join an organization that ensures a more secure world through connecting and protecting our customers with inventive electrical solutions.We're looking for an experienced Field Service Technician to join our team and support projects at power plants and industrial sites across the U.S.This is a field-focused role where your expertise in construction environments, and hands-on mechanical skills will make a direct impact on our customers and project success.To ensure full transparency, please note the following:75% travel is mandatory. This includes overnights, extended field assignments, and occasional short-notice assignments.

(All expenses paid)Field work often involves emergency or unscheduled tasks, and hours may vary based on project demands.Overtime or double-time may be available during field assignments, in line with company policy and applicable wage laws.A 20% field-work premium applies when working at remote job sites.When not in the field, you will work in the shop to ensure consistent employment in between assignments (Permanent Role, not Contract Work)What You Will Experience In This PositionCoordinate tools, materials, and equipment for the jobsite to keep projects running smoothly and on schedule.Work closely with customers and subcontractors on-site, representing our company with professionalism and strong communication.Complete required safety processes, including Job Safety Analyses (JSAs) prior to any work.Conduct welding inspections, repairs, and troubleshooting based on company procedures and project needs.Provide the project manager with daily updates on progress, challenges, and any changes that may impact scope or timeline.Help manage project costs by submitting accurate field documentation, receipts, and reports on time.When not assigned to field work, perform welding and fabrication tasks in the shop to maintain steady hours and continuous employment.You HaveAbility to read and interpret blueprints, tape measurements, and fabrication drawings.Prior leadership, crew coordination, or field supervision experienceThe ability to work hours based on business needs, not guaranteed to follow a standard schedule.AWS 6G MIG aluminum welding certification (preferred)Willingness to participate in OSHA 30 training (required)Forklift/man-lift operator training certificationA valid driver's license with a good driving record (required)Willingness and ability to travel 75% of the time, often to remote power plants and industrial job sites.Ability to use basic technology and software, including Tablets, laptops, and Microsoft Office Products.Physical ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions; stand, walk, kneel, climb, and lift to 50 lbs. regularly.Strong focus on safety, quality, and communication with customers, subcontractors, and internal teams.We HaveA dynamic global reach with diverse operations around the world that will stretch your abilities, provide plentiful career opportunities, and allow you to make an impact every dayCommitment to strengthen communities where our employees live and workCore values that shape our culture and drive us to deliver the best for our employees and our customersBenefits to support the lives of our employees
