Field Technical Support Specialist (Healthcare)
NY / NJ Metro Area (Primarily Passaic & Bergen Counties)

A leading healthcare organization is seeking a Field Technical Support Specialist to provide onsite technical assistance to healthcare testing sites and affiliated doctor’s offices across the NY/NJ region.
This role is ideal for a hands-on IT professional who is comfortable supporting users in a clinical setting and can travel between locations.
They will provide support for computer and printer issues with BRL equipment in doctor's offices/labs. They will mainly interface with the in-house phlebotomists with technical issues.
Tech support for doctor's offices. You will need a car to go to client sites in the NY/NJ area.
Responsibilities:
- Provide onsite support for computer hardware, printers, and web-based applications
- Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to workstations, networking, and healthcare testing systems
- Support clinical staff (primarily phlebotomists) with daily technical challenges
- Interface with in-house personnel and remote IT teams to escalate and resolve issues
- Maintain, set up, and troubleshoot hardware used in labs and doctor’s offices
- Travel to multiple client sites across Passaic, Bergen, and the greater New York metro area
Qualifications:
- 1–3 years of technical support or desktop support experience
- Working knowledge of PC hardware and web-based systems; Mac experience is a plus
- Strong troubleshooting skills and a customer-service mindset
- Reliable personal vehicle and valid driver’s license (mileage reimbursed)
- Comfortable working in a healthcare environment and interacting with clinical staff
- Preferred:
- Experience supporting users in medical or laboratory settings
- Familiarity with ticketing systems and remote desktop tools
