If you enjoy hands-on problem-solving, working with complex mechanical systems, and being part of a team that supports national defense, this is an opportunity to build a meaningful and rewarding career.What You'll DoAs a Field Service Technician, you will be responsible for the installation, commissioning, maintenance, and repair of a wide range of equipment, including:Diesel enginesElectrical controlsRoll-up doorsCranesElevatorsDavitsYou'll work both independently and collaboratively to troubleshoot issues, restore equipment to full operation, and deliver exceptional service to customers.Key ResponsibilitiesTechnical & Service ExecutionDiagnose equipment issues and develop effective solutionsPerform scheduled and emergency service with a focus on first-time fixRead and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manualsMaintain up-to-date service documentation and reportsStay current on engineering updates, service notices, and product changesCustomer & Team CollaborationBuild strong relationships with customers, internal teams, and leadershipCommunicate clearly regarding service updates and estimated timelinesRepresent the company with professionalism and technical expertiseOperations & PerformancePlan and prioritize work to maximize efficiency and productivityComplete service reports, expense reports, and administrative tasks accurately and on timeMaintain company equipment, tools, and vehicleSupport shop work as needed (assembly, inspections, testing, etc.)SafetyFollow all safety procedures and wear required PPEComplete required safety trainingReport incidents immediately and maintain a safe work environmentWhat You BringRequired:High School Diploma or GEDOne of the following: Associate degree in a technical field + 4 years of relevant or military experience4+ years of military or industry experience in similar equipmentTechnical Skills:Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting abilityAbility to read and interpret diagrams and blueprintsExperience or foundational knowledge in: Hydraulics and pneumaticsPLCs and electronic controlsProficiency in Microsoft OfficePreferred:Experience with diesel or gas engine systems and testing equipmentUnderstanding of gas compression systems and related safety considerationsAdditional RequirementsAbility to travel up to 25% (domestic and occasional international)Valid driver's license and eligibility for company credit cardValid U.S.
