Field Service TechnicianInstalls, maintains, and repairs surface wellhead and frac equipment consisting of API 6A Gate Valves, chokes, casing, and tubing heads and spools, conventional and multi-bowl wellheads in both the field and shop environments.In this role, you will:Installs and tests equipment in accordance with operating procedures - inspecting condition and communicating information with customerMaking repairs to customer property and rental assets including valves, wellheads, spools, chokes, actuators, and other surface wellhead equipment as requiredAssembling and breaking down of new and used equipmentProvides feedback to the company through reporting of problems and failures to appropriate personnel for resolutionPrepares service order, tickets, and customer related documentation accurately and completely Reading and interpreting blueprints and drawingsMaintain high customer satisfaction by providing timely and knowledgeable serviceExecuting general shop maintenance: Storage and equipment clean-upTear down and troubleshooting of customer owned property for inspection, repair reassembly and testing based on customer communicationsAssembling, testing, and painting of new or used wellhead/tree sectionsTravel required (must possess a valid driver's license and meet the company driver requirement to operate a company vehicle while traveling)Perform other duties as assignedRequired and Preferred Experience:Knowledge of conventional wellhead equipment and valve installation, operation, maintenance, and repairUse of service tools, gate valves and actuatorsConventional completionsTroubleshoot field equipment and productsSound reasoning and problem solvingOperate PBMO and Full Hydraulic Lubricators a plusElectronic Submergible SystemsMulti-Bowl Systems (with LDS)Wellhead Latch SystemsWork Environment and Physical Requirements:Employee is regularly required to stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle, feel, reach with hands and arms, talk, and hearAdditionally, employee must be able to operate, handle, and lift shop equipment and tools up to 30 lbs. (SEF Energy employees shall not manually lift an item weighing more than 50 lbs., they shall utilize mechanical assistance devices.
